Sunwater Spa in Mantiou Springs is our favorite local place for a monthly recharge and spending quality time together. 7 Water Spring is the only hot spring in Colorado Springs area and its water is funneled into Sunwater Spa where you can soak in private cedar tubs overlooking the foothills. It’s the perfect setting for celebrating an anniversary, special occasion, or just because.
The peaceful sound of water is abundant in Manitou Springs. Fountain Creek flows aside Manitou Springs downtown area giving it a peaceful vibe. There are 8 mineral springs you can taste around Manitou Avenue. You can find one of them right outside Sunwater Spa near the gazebo for tasting.

3. Carriage House Luxury Romantic Apartment in Manitou Springs
This historic and award-winning property’s history dates back to 1888. There are three separate apartments for rent and the 2nd Floor East is a beautiful space for a couple’s getaway.
A cozy space with a private kitchen breakfast bar and a lovely outdoor dining space outside the French doors with views of the foothills.
This is the perfect location for a couple planning to hike the Manitou Incline. You can see the Incline from the property and it would be very hit or miss to get parking much closer to the hike and you could still hop on the free bus to the trailhead. Also near the Pike’s Peak Cog Railway, just one block from Downtown Manitou Springs.
